Privacy & Security

At Poised, we believe that improving your communication is more effective when you can retain and reference previous conversations, but we recognize these conversations may contain sensitive and confidential information. That’s why we’re committed to keeping your information private and secure. We never sell your data or your personal information.

Security

Data Center and
Network Security

Poised hosts all its software in Amazon Web Services (AWS) facilities in the USA. Amazon provides an extensive list of compliance and regulatory assurances, including SOC 1-3, and ISO 27001. See Amazon’s compliance and security documents for more detailed information.

100 percent of Poised’s primary application servers are located within Poised's own virtual private cloud (VPC), protected by restricted security groups that allow only the minimal required communication to and between the servers.

Data Security

All connections to Poised are encrypted using SSL, and any attempt to connect over HTTP is redirected to HTTPS.

All customer data (including call recordings and transcripts) is encrypted at rest and in transit. We rely on AWS infrastructure to securely maintain our cryptographic encryption keys.

We use industry-standard AWS-managed DynamoDB storage systems.

Privacy

Recording privacy

Poised only stores the recording of the meeting participant that is using Poised. Other participants will not know that you are using Poised in a meeting, and their audio is not recorded.

Conversation control

You have complete control over which meetings Poised records, and Poised only records when you have explicitly given the app permission to do so. Poised does not record any audio or video outside of the meetings you have selected.
